Q: HOW EARLY WILL I HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
A: You can make your reservation as soon as you have decided which company to go with. On Time Moving & Storage is flexible and ready to be at your origin when you need us there.

Q: WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE DO YOU HAVE?
A: Insurance will depend on the type of move we do for you. If its a local move, the insurance that you will have will be .30 cents a lb. per article. A long distance move will have .60 cents a lb. per article.

Q: ARE THERE ANY EXTRA CHARGES FOR END OF THE MONTH OR WEEKEND MOVES?
A: One great thing about us is that no matter what day or time you need to move our rates stay the same.

Q: WILL THERE BE EXTRA CHARGES IF I AM MOVING INTO OR OUT OF A MULTILEVEL BUILDING?
A: In some cases if you are moving into a 2nd or 3rd floor, the driver might charge for "stair carry." Your moving coordinator can inform you if this charge will apply in your situation.

Q: HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY?
A: Delivery can depend upon where you are going. Normally delivery takes place within 7-10 days.

Q: WILL I BE ABLE TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH THE DRIVER?
A: All of our trucks are equipped with modern equipment and our drivers are accessible to you throughout your entire move.

Q: SHOULD MY CLOTHES BE REMOVED FROM MY DRESSERS?
A: It would be more convenient if you would remove the items from the dressers to make you move easier. This would also prevent damage to your furniture.

Q: IS THERE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR ADDITIONAL STOPS?
A: If you are doing a local move there won't be an extra charge. However that time will just get added on to your hourly rate. If you are doing a long distance move there will be charges for extra pick ups or deliveries. This charge will vary depending on the location of the origin or destination.

Q: DO YOU PROTECT FURNITURE?
A: Yes, we provide you with moving blankets free of charge. The blankets will prevent any furniture from getting scratched or damaged.

Q: HOW DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY FURNITURE AND SOMEONE ELSE'S FURNITURE?
A: When the movers arrive at your place they will have with them inventory stickers with a lot # and a sticker color along with inventory sheets. This will show what belongs to each customer.

Q: ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN CHARGES?
A: No. The charges that you will see will be based on the number of hours our movers work plus any materials used other than the moving blankets. Long distance charges will be based on the weight of your shipment plus any packing materials.
